This did what I wanted, the presser foot is large enough to hold the bulge around the needle so it can be sewn without lumps. However. Due to the glare on the plastic foot from my machine light and the extra light, it's quite difficult to see what (or where) I'm stitching. I've bought another smaller foot, also in clear plastic, and will try that, but I'll probably continue to play with the Little Foot product to try and eliminate glare. It works so well with puffy batting that when I had problems I was very disappointed.
