Review on Bioluz Dimmable LED Floodlight Replacement by Paul Dobson

Replaced 7 x 45w R20 bulbs on the kitchen ceiling and an architectural table lamp. Excellent warmth, slightly warmer than 450 lumen halogen bulbs. Excellent heat reduction due to naturally significant power reduction: 335W > 49W Cannot use full range of lamps with Lutron Skylark dimmer. This is not a problem as these 9W LEDs have a light output of 550 lumens compared to 450 lumen halogen bulbs. Set the internal dimmer to use about 26%-90% and find a dimmer that covers 100% of the range. At 90% they are as bright as halogen bulbs and not being able to dim almost to on is no problem in my kitchen. The only negative is a small delay <1s when switching on. Non-dimmable 6W Bioluz LED lamps. I've tried Phillips 450 lumen dimmable LED bulbs in the past and they lit up straight away. It is no problem for me. I can't say anything about durability yet.
