We bought two different colors. It takes a lot of blankets and pillows to fill it, but it's worth it. We filled them with mix but I would say 8 standard bed pillows (but that would probably be too soft to use as a seat) would fill one. I think I put in a 26 x 26 x 6 floor pillow, 1 queen size cotton comforter, two throw pillows, some pillowcases and a bath towel for a "they are roomy" fill. You can also buy bean bag fillers and store them in a pouch and place the included pouch in a stool. Or pieces of styrofoam. stuffed animals. Old sweaters. No body parts. too lumpy. Not oatmeal. too wet d. It really depends on whether you want to buy putty and/or your intended use. We use ours as a footstool and extra seat (stack them on top of each other or you'll end up with your knees in your nose lol) in our RV. This is a great way to add storage and allow easy access to guest linens. The zipper is sewn into a flimsy looking fabric (100 threads I think) so we carefully lift it up. The zip is all the way down so any weight from what you stuffed them with will be hanging off the zip so you have to support the bottom. A few decorative plastic beads fell off after just one use, but it's really not that noticeable - I didn't bother or worry about it. Like the design. it's funny and weird. The colors are those shown in the ad. My only complaint is that the fabric is thin and a bit delicate so I'm not sure how long they will last. 3 rides with it so far. We paid just under $20 each and it seems a little high due to the fabric, but we haven't found anything that compares and is reasonably priced. This is for RV people. :D Would we buy again. If the fabric were a little firmer we would give 5 stars. I would have agreed this could be hand washed but didn't. Hope this is helpful. All the best
