It is not necessary in the slightest to have a second USB connector. Those individuals who prefer silent mechanics should look elsewhere, as I do not recommend it. With its positives being: 1) A gentle and unmistakable pressing 2) A nice substance for the keycaps 3) Maintains an extremely stable position on the table 4) Effective use of space stubs 5) Excellent construction With these drawbacks: 1) The indicator for the Num Lock key is not present. I was not at all anticipating this from a Logitech keyboard costing 5.5 grand. 2) When one types normally, a metallic ringing may be heard emanating from the keys as they are pressed. Even though it's not that bad, there's really no redeeming quality to it at all. 3) An insufficiently light touch on the keys could result in the wrong buttons being pressed. 4) As a result of the increased It was discovered that the USB connector on the cable was somewhat thick and was prone to severe bending. It is not essential.
