Slim great scale and health monitor

I've been using this scale for a few weeks now and can honestly say it's quite a few notches above regular scales and is a great device to monitor your health with . As the description says, it tracks 10 metrics, although not all are actually 'measured' on a scale, some (BMI, metabolic age) are calculated: * Weight * Heart Rate * BMI * Fat * Lean Body Mass * Hydration * Visceral Fat * BMR (Basing Metabolic Rate)* Bone Mass* Metabolic Age You may be wondering how some of these are measured (I was) and there are hints in the app (you MUST use the app if you have this scale). Each metric includes a detailed description of what it is and how you can improve your health, and in some cases how to ensure an accurate measurement. For example, in the case of visceral fat, the position of the foot is important. Pros:* Stylish design, low profile, beautifully rounded corners. We have the scale in the bathroom, and if I get up at night and stumble over there, I don't have to worry about kicking the scale with sharp corners (like I did with our previous ones. in English) and they force you around the app to use, but it's pretty easy to set up - for the first time user (*see cons below).* The app seems feature rich and has a nice interface. It took me a bit to get into the details (e.g. swipe left to delete a measurement I didn't want to save), but the app has a lot of good stuff and is very mature.* Reliable and accurate - the scale appears to be accurate read quickly and transferred securely to my phone. I never noticed missing measurements, even when stepping on the scale twice in a row (although in this particular case I had to refresh the app to see the new one). * If you don't want to check the app, the scale itself gives you highlights as you stand there: weight, heart rate, and a few others. Nice touch.* It's even smart enough to recognize measurements - I picked up a Β£10 box, and instead of just assuming I'd eaten a large meal, the app asked if that was actually a conscientious measurement. Cons: * It was confusing to set up for two people. When I installed the app on my wife's phone (since the app only works for one person, which is also an imo limitation - no profiles), I had to go through the whole Wi-Fi setup process again, which was weird. It worked out in the end, and we weight them differently enough not to confuse our profiles. I'm not sure what would happen if we were roughly the same weight.* The Google Fit integration seemed a bit fuzzy to me. I have some weight measurements to show, but not every day. I don't actually use Google Fit so haven't tried to troubleshoot too much.* It seems a bit pricey but Noerden is a solid brand, the product design is great and as I mentioned above the app shines it's ok to be that In my opinion, this is much better than cheap "smart scales".

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Good but not great
