Review on Rustic Town 14 Inch Brown Leather Messenger Bag: Stylish Laptop Satchel for Men and Women by Raj Mazzabufi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Real soft and flexible leather that smells nice. Not too roomy. The belt needs to be worked on.

Surprised that the bag is made of genuine leather at such a price. It is very soft and supple and has a great smell. I don't understand why it won't last long. The interior lines are heavy canvas with some padding between compartments. It has 3 compartments plus 2 zipped compartments at each end of the bag, not exactly spacious but more than adequate for my daily needs. This is my daily commute to work now. I can fit a Surface Pro 4 (which takes up most of the space), a Kindle reader, and a medium-sized laptop. This alone takes up all the space in the largest compartment. The other two open spaces are much smaller and could probably accommodate a full-size laptop. You can easily fit a 13-inch laptop, but there's no room for anything else. The zip compartments are the same size as the large sides of the bag. I only use the front for keys and such. My only concern is that the strap is split down the middle, with a buckle on one end and holes on the other. It has 2 loops: leather further along the belt and metal closer to the buckle. I measured both straps and they are the exact width (1 1/2 inches) but for some reason the metal loop is not wide enough to fit both straps. I'm a big guy, so I'm forced to use the very last hole for the perforation, which leaves just enough ribbon to reach the metal loop, rather than a second hole further down the ribbon. This is easily solved with a wider metal loop. However, this proved to be of little consequence. The leather strap conformed to the shape of my shoulder on its own, sits right over the metal loop and is secure enough not to come loose, so I'm ultimately happy with the bag. It has served me well during the time I have had it.
