As an avid hobbyist of drones, I wanted to try out the QWinOut S500 DIY Drone Kit. The kit had all the essential components that I needed to build my drone, including a 500mm quadcopter frame, APM2.8 flight control, M7N GPS, T8FB 2.4GHz 4CH transmitter receiver, and motor ESC. The kit looked promising, and I was excited to get started. However, I must admit that I faced a few issues while building the drone. The instructions were not very clear, making the assembly process quite challenging. Moreover, the build quality of the kit was not up to par with my expectations. Once I completed the build, I was finally able to fly the drone. Though it worked fine, I did notice that it lacked stability, especially during windy conditions. The GPS and compass features, which are essential for stable flight, were also absent in the kit, making it hard to navigate when flying. On the bright side, the T8FB 2.4GHz 4CH transmitter receiver was quite impressive, offering an extended range and a reliable connection. Additionally, the motor ESC worked well, providing smooth acceleration and deceleration. Overall, the QWinOut S500 DIY Drone Kit didn't deliver on my expectations. While it has its merits, it falls short in several crucial areas that make it challenging to recommend to others. If you're looking to build a drone, you might want to consider other options available in the market.
