Review on Acne Prone Dermatologist Recommended Mineral Based Broad Spectrum Sunscreen by Diana Martin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Read it! Cosdna's profile is characterized by this!

I've been using the regular clear untinted version for many years and I love it as much as everyone else. Never had a problem with the clear version on my acne prone skin. So I recently decided to try the tinted version and I really liked it too. I was surprised because there had never been anything 'tinted' that I liked in terms of color and consistency before - *** HOWEVER **** I wore the tinted version for a few weeks and started breaking out, bad! I couldn't figure out why every pore was suddenly clogged and inflamed out of nowhere! My skin has improved a lot so far. I haven't changed anything about my mode other than switching to a tinted version. Didn't really think it could be the tinted version but switched to the clear version to be on the safe side. Well my skin is starting to clear up. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I looked at both the transparent and tinted versions on the cosdna website (if you've never used them, it's a great website!) and concluded that the transparent version is the best has an almost squeaky clean profile but the tinted version has a level 4-5 flag for one of the ingredients! I knew I wouldn't go crazy and cosdna proved that this tinted version was most likely the culprit behind the horrible breakouts I was having while using it! Of course I will only use the clean version from now on forever.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
