Do not do that! fits radios

Aside from the generally lukewarm customer reviews of various Coby products, my first clue would have to be the clearly visible signs of wear and tear on the front of the CX-7 while it was still sitting securely in its blister pack. I opened the package. My second clue was the cheap quality radio case, a tiny dial with a couple of station numbers to guide you through tuning. I liked the overall design and the headphones so I gave it a try. At work (which was my main reason for buying) picked up exactly 2 FM stations and a few extra AM stations. I live in a big metropolis so I expected more. There are more stations at home. That said, reception from those few stations was pretty poor initially, but to make matters worse, they faded and scratched as I left (so much for the portability factor). But what ended it for me was the vanishing volume. On my third short radio session, still with the same new batteries, the volume started to die down after about 5 minutes of listening and disappeared completely after another 2 minutes. 2 more attempts brought the same result. The final resting place for my CX-7 is the trash can. I recommend you not to waste your money.
