I recently bought a new Kawasaki engine lawnmower. One of the best ways to keep your engine in tip-top shape is to change your engine oil and filter every 50 hours. Dirty oil shortens the life of your engine. On a new engine I change the oil and filter every 7-8 hours and then completely every 50 hours. These are genuine Kawasaki oil filters for about half the price JD charges. They can make tractors but not engines, so why pay for their green/yellow crate?
