Review on WACOOL 3L 3 Liter 100oz BPA-Free EVA Hydration Pack Bladder with Leak-Proof Water Reservoir by Mike Bucher

The product looks very high quality and well thought out. I was a little worried after reading a previous review that reported header leaks, but decided to take a chance as they also found a solution to the problem. I tested it with water after doing the suggested saltwater rinse. I filled it in both partially and fully and squeezed it in both states. The cap leaked at first, but upon further investigation I found that I had not fully tightened the cap. There is a beveled edge in the cap that touches the filler neck in the hole and I only tightened to first resistance without fully seating the cap. Once I twisted the cap another 1/4 turn, it's snug and doesn't leak. I haven't had any problems with either the top seal or the quick release. As for isolation, I live in southern Arizona. Any water you carry around will get hot unless it's vacuum insulated. I wasn't expecting magically cold water to come out of my water pouch, but the sleeve does an excellent job of protecting my hydration tube from the sun (read ultraviolet light) so I'm happy.
