This shower cap is definitely waterproof (I haven't showered with it since I got it yesterday but I ran it under water and the shower cap didn't absorb any water all.) It fits my head perfectly and the design is really nice. I had just styled my hair so it wasn't in a low bun as I had Bantu knots on my head but the shower cap still covered my whole head. It is recommended to tie your hair in a low bun to allow the shower cap to cover your head, as to put it on you need to put the elastic part over the bun and then pull the front part over the rest of your head before tying the Bow. Overall, this shower cap is so cute and keeps your hair (whether natural or with a protective style like braids) from getting wet.
