The clock is cute, but not easy to read if you have poor eyesight due to age. It is impossible to see the time in dim light. The gold numerals and hands are too light on the watch's light-colored dial. It would be easier to read if the numbers and hands were black or darker to provide contrast in low-light conditions. There is no problem reading in daylight or bright light. The date is small but I don't mind since I don't check the watch for the date anymore. The bracelet has a detachable strap extension and two detachable links. You will need tools or a jeweler to remove the links. There are do-it-yourself videos on YouTube. If you have a very small wrist, 5 inches, you will need to remove the extra link alongside the two removable ones for the watch to fit.
