One of the clamps was missing a gasket halfway up the jaw. I don't mind it much, but it does indicate a lack of quality control. I bought it mainly for adapters. I used the plastic adapters that came with some of the other clamps and the threads were mixed up and not very secure. The other metal adapter options I was looking for were only a few dollars cheaper, so I decided to try these. I have a scissor arm and some darts, but I don't really need three of these clamps because I usually use a shock absorber. I put one on the spare boom and the other on the gearbox. The one that's missing the seal probably just goes in the trash. They seem more reliable and compact than the clip that came with my microphone (ATR-2100).
