Tables are much more modern than traditional wooden TV stands. The shape of the legs makes it very easy to slide under a sofa or chair. However, after a recent surgery, I tried using a table in bed and it wasn't very convenient. The tables aren't very strong either. They really should be used as laptop or dining tables. Too much pressure and the countertop tends to sag. Also, the cup holder is smaller than a standard cup size, so it's useless. The table has multiple tilt and height settings, which can be very handy. Overall, tables are a great purchase for anyone who needs a TV tray for their laptop or groceries. Not recommended for children who may be stiff or climb onto the tray as it cannot support their weight. I only speak from experience.
