We've decided that if Theta sucks, we'll give up. I'm so glad I ordered this lamp. It looks great in our bedroom. The color is soft and rich, the design is simple yet elegant. The lamp itself is solid and well made. The movement of the swivel arm is smooth, and thanks to the way it's articulated, you can adjust the lamp exactly how you want to read in bed. Requires a 3 way bulb up to 150w so if you are looking for a BRIGHT light this is it. We usually read at the 100W setting, but imagine there are people who would use a higher setting. Finally, the lampshade is certainly not fancy, but it has a nice colour, texture and finish for a lamp in this price range. Highly recommended. . If desired, these lamps can also be connected. We've had ours for almost 2 years now and they still look great, are smooth, strong and work amazingly well.
