Great belts but they smell

The product itself is excellent. I usually wear a medium or large and it's comfortable. The colors are exactly what I wanted and the price is great. The only problem I have is the smell. I sprayed perfume on the front and back and now they sit in a box of laundry scent enhancers hoping the scent will come out so I can use them.
