Very cute and tall. I like that it's a little subtle so it doesn't scream in your face. I feel a little grown up when I indulge in cute cat stuff, huh. I love that they are individually wrapped in clear plastic so I store what I'm not using. It looks like a material but it works well as the coaster hasn't had any issues with it so it handles my iced drinks well. I even use it when I'm eating hot food at the table and that's no problem either.
