I don't usually write reviews for products I don't like unless they're so bad I feel compelled to do so. This is one of those products. I can't believe this stuff is even related to Gillette or Venus product names. I tried many shaving creams on a "test drive", some were really good, some were just ok. I had high hopes for "PURE". Manuka honey and vanilla. It sounded good enough to eat. And shea butter. Great ingredient. So how could it be so bad. But this. I shave with a hot towel. Pat your face dry with a hot towel and immediately apply shaving cream. Good shaving creams are easy to apply and you can feel the moisture. And it should take some time for the cream to start drying. Really good shaving creams tend to stay moist and creamy throughout the shave. This material literally dried out on my face as soon as I applied it. I was really surprised how quickly it dried. So much for all that "will your razor glide smoothly over your skin?" hype. Shit. My razor felt like it was skinning me. I couldn't even get through my whole shave. I had to dry myself with a hot towel (again not easy as the consistency of the cream was strange once it got wet). I generally like Gillette products, but I was very disappointed with this product.
