Review on πŸ“± Tempered Glass Film for iPad Air 3 (10.5 Inch 2019) and iPad Pro 10.5 (2017) - JETech Screen Protector by Allan Lambert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Great Protector is a fantastic value for money, simple, forgiving setup that works with the Apple Pencil.

This is the second JETech protective glass I have purchased and installed. The first was for my work iPad mini and this one was for my larger personal iPad Pro. This is a smooth, glossy protective glass that lasts very well! The sticker loop system works quite well if you're careful. The process is described in the instructions, but it works like this: stick the sticker on the back half of the iPad and peel it off. Position the screen and then fold the hinge stickers onto the screen. Stick another sticker on the opposite side to lift the screen. to the side, foldable like a book cover with stickers on the hinges. Wipe the screen with the supplied damp cloth, a dry cloth, and then use the dust removal sticker. Remove the film from the side that comes in contact with the glass. Unfold it and place it on the screen. Push from side to side. so that bubbles / air come out Done! Spend some time wiping the screen with the sticker to remove the dust. Spend more time than you think is necessary. The fabric will leave some marks and some dust will remain in the area. Do this in as clean a place as possible, as you want to keep the screen dust-free. When you see a piece (I had one) carefully lift the corner and use the sticker to pick it up, sliding the sticker from the bottom to get it. The results are impressive. A beautiful screen that protects and shines your iPad screen. Works great with the Apple Pencil. Perfect. (If you don't mind a slippery surface to paint on. It doesn't feel like paper. I don't mind. If you want it to feel like paper, get a matte coated screen protector. Not this one.) Love it my otter box. It has saved me from injury countless times. But I despise the protective plastic sheet that comes with it. Solution? Remove the plastic by tapping the adhesive surface (inside the lid) with a hair dryer and gently lifting the screen. At the right temperature, most of the adhesive will separate from the plastic. A little Goo Gone and a paper towel will do the rest. Put everything together and it will fit perfectly. Now my original glass stays that way and I don't have to worry about dust under the screen cover anymore. During installation, wipe ALL the dust off before the last flip and you won't be disappointed. Great price too. Thank you Jtech!
