I make jewelry and am also an instrument addict. Lately I've been adding stamped metal pieces to my work which has added a touch of personality. I love that little slap in the heart. It leaves nice, sharp images on soft, thin metal. I use it on copper and 24 gauge silver. I use a plastic mallet to add force to the stamping. I wish there was more to say about it, but all I can think of is that this is a very simple tool that works exactly as it's intended. Given the number of simple tools I've seen that don't even try to work as advertised, it's nice to see a well-made simple tool.
