I'm a big fan of lightweight zero drop shoes but stopped buying Merrells as soon as they stopped making plus sizes. Since then I've tried many different brands, some good, some bad. I bought these to replace my worn out running shoes. I was surprised at first as the upper of this shoe is more like a water shoe - very thin and stretchy. However, the adjustable straps at the front and back work like a hiking sandal, which has worked very well. What you end up with is a zero drop shoe with a solid sole (no shoe drain holes) that is extremely lightweight. , flexible top and adjustable shoulder straps to keep everything in place. Although I don't wear them for long I can't comment on their durability but they are comfortable and not that expensive. I expect to get my money from them.
