This is a good product; We had one before and wanted to replace it with a new one. The lid seals against the cup body with a double silicone gasket that ensures a tight seal. We don't expect them to be waterproof, and here the opening on the lid allows access to a drink in a simple open-and-close device. However, you won't leak much when it's closed, which is fine with us. For the price and features, they're exactly what we expected, and the color variation is good for anyone who keeps their mug choice. The insulated design keeps the beverage at the temperature it was poured at long enough for the beverage to be enjoyed at near that temperature.
