This size is hard to find in stores and is exactly what I was looking for. The quality is very good for the price and they work perfectly. I have short hair and have never had a problem with it getting stuck, tangling, or pulling my hair out, which some reviewers have complained about. HAS noticed in the photos that the curlers are too small for the length of hair used, making it more likely that incorrect winding was to blame. And you can't just pull them out! So the human factor is to blame, not the product.
