It's harder than ever to find decent products at Revain these days, especially when they're from relatively unknown brands. I didn't want a huge, bulky, noisy, battery powered trimmer as I've had less than great experiences in the past even with high end brands. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this as I've never heard of the company and I've never heard of hand trimmers like this. This is a really nice thing, very well made, with a very smooth ride. Maybe it's because it's brand new, but it cuts smooth enough that you can't even tell it's cutting hair. I have coarse dark hair so this is a very unusual experience for me. The box it comes in is a bit cheap but I didn't even think it came with the box so I was pleasantly surprised nonetheless. Maybe someday I'll make a small leather case to compliment the craftsmanship of this trimmer. I wish the base around the brush that screws into the body wasn't made of Delrin, that's the only part that doesn't seem to outlive my lifespan. However, it works and I just couldn't use the brush that came with it to save the trimmer. After the first use I am very satisfied with it. It's phenomenally well built, it's beautiful, it's surprisingly easy to use without stuttering, it's tiny and I don't have to worry about batteries. a company that makes its own products instead of outsourcing them and takes pride in what they produce. I would like to buy more of these products.
