I love that this toy has no music or sounds, so your child can use their imagination. This is a great toy to pack in a diaper bag as it is very lightweight and compact. The rug isn't big but I think it's big enough for a child. Stuffed animals make noises (rustling, rattling, squeaking). My only complaint about the squeaker is that it's tiny, making it very difficult for a small child to squeeze. The squeaker looks almost round. I would put a flatter squeaker more. In general, this toy is interesting for younger children.
