Review on Neewer LED Softbox Lighting Kit by Joshua Johnson

I bought these to be able to switch between warm and cool light. The bag that came with it looks pretty nice. Zippers are very cheap and often break. Lightweight cases are very lightweight and feel pretty cheap. When putting on softboxes, the sticks that you use for the frame are inserted into the light body. After 2 uses of the product there is already a nick on the plastic so I'm not sure how long it will last. When trying to tighten the Y-Axis (Up/Down) screw, the plastic hand screw snapped off immediately and was impossible to tighten. When I wanted to install the light head on the stand that came with it, I had to completely disassemble the stand to get the mount head out of the stand. When I put the real head on it goes on slightly but doesn't seem to fit very well. Due to the weight of the softbox, the head tilts downwards, which is a bit annoying due to the broken screw. As expected, the stands work quite well. Overall not a bad system to start with but the quality is very poor for the price. I have bought other products from this brand and they seemed to be of better quality than this item. Buy with caution it will work but I doubt it will last long.
