I bought this for my daughter to take pictures of various things. So far she is fine. It has three light color settings and different brightness levels. My daughter even uses it as a flashlight sometimes (I think when you're 10 years old it's important to have such a cool ring light). My only issue is that I don't like how the device lengthens. It relies on a tensioning system rather than the more robust system that uses clamps. Because of this, settings sometimes slip if you don't get them right. But overall it's a good device and she loves it.
