I bought three of these, two for my mum to use for cooking and one for myself to use for clandestine drinking purposes . This bottle definitely excels at the latter, and I think my mom does well at the former. They look cool and give them a vintage feel. If given the opportunity I would love to make a leather cover for the bottom half of the bottle or some other fancy decoration but I find they are aesthetic in their own right. A wire shackle and a rubber stopper work very well. I put the bottle on its side for several days and the grain alcohol I poured in didn't even ooze out. The big negative I can think of is the fact that the bottle is glass and will likely shatter if dropped, but I guess if you're cool enough to have an explosion from a riot hit in a glass bottle you are cool enough not to drop it during a riot.
