The first time I put my GoPro Hero 4 Session in this cage, it was very tight, but I didn't care much about it. But as soon as you lock it, the locking mechanism begins to corrode and warp the GoPro's outer plastic. This is particularly noticeable where the locking mechanism is located, but from the cage you can see markings around the GoPro. It's just too tight and with prolonged use, I'm worried it will ruin the waterproofing of the camera. The plastic is not of very good quality and there are obvious signs of mold throughout and some plastic sticking out where it wasn't there. t cut off completely. The product does what it was designed to do, which is to hold your camera in place. I just want it to be higher quality, more accurate and not eat away at your camera. Unfortunately, this was the only cage I could find that had the mount on the back of the camera and not underneath it like most other mounts.
