Review on πŸ’Ž Diamond Toothpicks - 750 Count, Flat Design by Lisa Lord

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good stuff. BUT ONLY ONE CARTON, NOT 48TH AND NO PLASTIC CONTAINERS.

As other reviewers point out, flat toothpicks are almost a thing of the past in grocery stores. Some people love them because they pick their teeth. Others like them as building materials for crafting. I like them as tools: for mixing small drops of epoxy, applying glue to small parts and so on. For these purposes, a flat shape is ideal, with one pointed end and a wide other. You can buy boxes of a few thousand flat toothpicks for craft supplies, but reviews aren't encouraging. Some say they break easily, others complain about the length-to-width mismatch. There are no such problems with diamond toothpicks. These are good quality things, so simple. Here's a word of caution: FIVE DOLLARS FOR A BOX OF 750. Let me stress this. *VERSUS WHAT OTHER DESIGNERS HAVE STATED UNDER THIS HEADING*, Dave & Mark's Sporting Goods sells individual boxes of toothpicks, NOT a 48-box box. Not that I expected anything else: I knew the price I paid couldn't even cover the cost of shipping a case of 48, let alone their cost. Unfortunately, between the schematic description and the comments, which no doubt relate to past sales from other Marketplace sellers, some buyers may not realize how little they are getting. Also, the description refers to "attractive plastic". Container. What Dave & Mark sells is a simple little cardboard box full of toothpicks. There is no such thing as a plastic container, pretty or not. I really wish Revain had better control over this type of inconsistency and confusion in the marketplace; I see it often too.

Pros
  • Sleek and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
