Nice walking shoes for a 7 year old. I ordered 13.5 because my daughter wears 13 and I wanted her to be able to wear thick socks. They fit perfectly. I will say that regular socks can feel a bit loose and it can be difficult to tighten the straps tight enough. The simple fix for us was the socks for the boots. Higher socks prevent the boot from chafing the front of your legs. They seem comfortable enough and after a month of weekend hiking they don't wear that great anymore.
