It does exactly as it says

I purchased this to cover a 5 inch twin memory foam mattress that I purchased for my 2.5 year old. It fits like a glove on her mattress, was kinda difficult putting it on by myself but not completely unmanageable. Finally had my first experience with potty training and seeing how this keeps liquids away from the mattress: it was perfect. I don’t know how long the liquids sat on the mattress cover (as my daughter was asleep) but it kept it away from the memory foam and it washed well. I don’t know if it was the cover or something else in my washer but there is a small stain on it now (no where near the potty accident). It isn’t loud at all either, it’s pretty soft too.

Pros

Really is water proof, very easy to put on, and does not make a lot of noise when moving around.

Cons

Potential for mold or mildew growth if not properly maintained
