Review on Clear Night 7 Watt Candelabra 8 Pack by Darrell Shreves

Economical and works well for flea traps

It's been a few years since the original review was written. I stand by my opinion. I still buy these flea trap bulbs, although we only need them occasionally, like after very wet storms/hurricanes. So Maaibbi once or twice a year. However. They are still the best product I have found for this purpose. I think the only way to get rid of fleas completely is to get rid of my critters. And that doesn't happen! 😁 So I will keep buying them as long as they and I are both available. First review: I buy these lights for use in flea traps as an alternative to the expensive target packs that the manufacturer sells. We've had flea infestations every spring since I bought my old remodeled house in 2015. These bulbs last almost as long as those labeled for traps and cost a fraction. As far as I can tell there is no difference in how traps work with them. A lightbulb lasts about 1 1/2 sticky pads, but remember they're on all the time they're in use. My poor old town cats have never dealt with fleas and will go crazy when they get old. I think the dog brings more from the yard every day. They drive someone outside and then break in. I learned to wash my shoes before spending time in the garden. These lightbulbs are a more economical way to protect our home from these problems without using a lot of chemicals. I'm allergic to what the guy bug is spraying so I need to find an alternative for internal use. I will continue to buy these bulbs until I get fleas out of the area with the help of the bugs (outside). This is the third spring and every year there are fewer. I've only seen a few so far. We win! I would give the lamps a fifth star if they lasted longer but I'm still happy with the price.
