Well it was very, very easy to remove my mattress (remove the weight) to lift each corner to put these risers in place to craft the reels " snap into place. It definitely helped me. Raised my bed to the right height and gave more space under the bed to store some items. They are very durable, non-slip (I put them on carpet) and can only recommend them. Easy to install (took maybe 10 minutes), quality product and was packaged very well.
