Foot tends to slide out from slipper

I do not wear socks with these slippers so I don't know if it would make a difference or not, it's too hot in Fla.So with that being said, my feet tend to slip out. I have tried to tighten them with the velcro strap, but that seems to make it worse like it squeezes the foot out. Also, if your standing on tile or hardwood they feel good for a short while but will not withstand a lengthy period of time.thats when I have to go to the crocs. For quick footwear around the house it serves the purpose. I, personally, because of the reasons stated, would not purchase again.
