Good concept, disappointing battery life

I'm a certified brakeman and leveler, I spend my working day under vehicles and in fenders, the lighting is very good, but the manufacturer expected 8 hours of low battery life. Without charging 3 hours will not work. I resorted to a USB power bank to get through the day. Proof of concept is good - will look for higher quality versions.
