Review on 🐱 Optimized Pet Club Cat Tree by Brandon Bugg

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Add a few extra minutes of work and it will take a lot longer.

Cat was immediately enthusiastic. And the box of course. He helped collect it by climbing in and refusing to come out. After reading previous reviews, someone recommended using wood glue to reinforce the joints of all apartments. A great idea! Absolutely. Ordered wood glue here in Revane and the wood glue arrived in front of the tower. There were a few small tears in one apartment, obviously from transport, which I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't been all there with glue. It was easy enough to fix. I also noticed that the edges of the flats weren't attached well to each other. The pressure caused them to move relative to each other, as if only staples and carpeting held them together. The glue has leaked through in a few places. No contact at all. After the glue dried, there were no problems. Kudos to the reviewer who recommended this trick. There was a noticeable difference in plan stability before and after the glue trick. I have a feeling it's going to take a little longer now. Another common problem was that the sisal ropes eventually came loose at the top and cats could scratch the strong cardboard at the bottom. I went ahead and used wood glue on the top and bottom rope ring to secure it in place. Why not? My hands were already full of glue, after assembly it wobbles a bit. He is so big. One of the flats sticks out a little more than the base, so my cute, energetic, angry cat is constantly pacing up and down despite being flush with the wall. And up and down. And up and down. It's going away. I shook it vigorously and it wobbles but doesn't tip over. I can take a strap, like bookshelves, and attach it to the wall. Now I just press it in place every few days. The walls of the apartment are a kind of heavy board for the press. Sturdy enough to attach more toys to it for sure. I bought some strands of faux ivy which, like the glue, arrived before the tower. This is purely for decorative purposes, although the cat loves to smack the leaves. All in all a great investment for a young, energetic cat. It can climb, scratch, kill fake mice, or just sit on top like an overbearing animal and meow for treats. For size reference, the majestic beauty in the photos is a 2 year old male and weighs 12 pounds. He starts with a running start and likes to crash into the tower at full speed, reach the top, turn around and come back down at full speed. He tolerates violence well. It took about an hour to assemble, but only because I glued everything first. Good luck, keep the cat outside while the glue dries. I had to fill up the whole pile.
