Look no further, this is the machine you are looking for. If you're looking to buy your first 3D printer, this is the printer you need. If you already have a 3D printer and want to add it to your collection, this is the printer to buy. If you have another printer that is not very good: this is the printer to buy. Take the Ender 3 or this machine: that's the printer you should be getting. You won't find a better printer in this price range. Period. This machine is actually underrated for the quality it exudes. I bought my first 3D printer over a year and a half ago, after extensive research (as you are probably doing now) I bought an i3 Mega. I was very excited to get into this new field of 3D printing. Setup took every 10 minutes if at all. Everything was securely packaged with no signs of damage, and there are loads of extras in the box, including a full spool of filament (unlike other companies who only give samples), which is actually pretty decent filament. I started my first test print. those were owls on the SD card and I probably watched every line with sheer amazement. The prints came out so neat and clean that I showed them to everyone. At that point I was hooked. I started typing stuff from the internet for fun and joined a Facebook group where I got a lot of support and made some good friends. Although this machine works very well, there is still a lot to learn when working with 3D printing and it helps to get advice from others. After a few months of wet feet I decided to buy another 3D printer (Ender 3). I was excited to get this too, but that excitement faded pretty quickly. I also joined the facebook support group and had a lot of fun with the members but this car wasn't what I hoped for and had too many problems. Fast forward a year and a half later. I now have 14 printers including 2 Anycubic Chirons. and 3 more i3 Megas. I'm in the process of replacing 7 of these machines with all i3 megas as most of my other machines are a pain in the ass and don't deliver i3 mega quality. The i3 mega is practically maintenance-free. I literally hit the print button and I'm gone before it even prints. I've never done anything with this machine other than changing the nozzle and installing TL straighteners. Never put on different air ducts. Never had any problems. Like this, all my i3 megaphones are stocked with no problems (except TL Smoothers). As I write this, my very first i3 Megas PSU has blown. I went to Amazon to find a replacement power adapter but it wasn't available. So I contacted support. Well actually I posted on a Facebook group asking questions where to get it and the support team contacted me! The woman I spoke to was very pleasant to speak to and made me much happier in my decision to continue supporting this company. After a few minutes she pulled out my order and said she gave me a spare power supply! This is amazing customer service! (Some companies take a few days to get the hang of it, but not Anycubic). I am very happy with my i3 Megas and very glad I decided to start my 3D printing project with this machine. Had I started with something else in this price range I might not have 3D printing yet as it requires little to no troubleshooting other than the learning curve of the 3D printing process. since you have the settings directly in your slicer). The hot end never clogs and flows very well. The fans are a little louder than the others but they haven't burned out yet and I'm typing on these i3 Megas all the time. Ultrabase is amazing too. No tape, no glue, no hairspray, literally nothing and almost never needs realigning. Just wait for it to cool and the print will literally slide off. Honestly, I can't find anything wrong with this car at all. Well, maybe, apart from the words on the portal's upper panel. I keep telling myself I'll cover it with vinyl but I never do, but it doesn't affect the printer in any way lol. I cannot recommend this machine enough if you are a beginner, experienced or even looking for the right machine to build a farm at an affordable price. Choose i3 mega. You literally can't go wrong and you won't be disappointed.
