My child is quite active and I was looking for a shoe that wouldn't break the bank while still allowing her feet to function as they should. These shoes have plenty of toe room so the toes don't get squashed like regular shoes. In addition, they are so flexible that she can move her legs without restriction. If you are looking for ankle and heel support, this shoe is not for you. However, I cannot say enough good things about this shoe. Great for everyday.
