Just what I needed for my french bread

I bought these for an odd ball use. I make french bread at home and need to have it shaped properly. I usually use a cloche but that is a lot of effort and flour everywhere. I rounded these over a rolling pin and can raise the bread right in the trench, lined with parchment paper. I learned the hard way not to bake it directly on the metal - it stuck and was a bear to clean.
