My husband gave me an iPhone X which was a huge upgrade from my old iPhone 6S for me. Of course, the first thing I looked at at Revain was a screen protector and a protective case. I'm more of a strictly functional, down to earth person and a total fitness rat. Not girly at all, I don't do my nails, makeup or hair, I'm rough with my stuff. My last case was an Otterbox, and even with that and a screen protector on, I managed to smash the screen when I was rushing to the gym one day and dropped my bag on the floor too hard. During my search I came across the Velvet Caviar iPhone X case in Holo Moonstone and just couldn't resist as I'm an artist and I like certain color combinations, purple is my favourite. This incident reminded me of hydrangeas, which are one of my favorite flowers just for their color. Anyway, I digress. I used a flat zip bag made out of yoga mat material to stow my phone in before putting it in the pocket to protect it (from myself). I checked if there were other small bags or wallets for the phone with a separate compartment for other small items like my tiny iPod Shuffle and the headphones which I use every day since I can't exercise like I do. to do with a huge phone jingling around me. This Pearl Angeli wallet caught my eye and being a practical person I liked the RFID blocking feature. Then I saw that it comes in purple and real leather (I'm a real leather fan!) But my first reaction was: it's too girly for me, I can't wear it! But it had free returns so I thought what the heck let me see how I like it. MY GOD! When I saw how it looks on my phone I was blown away! 😍 See my photos, I should have taken a photo! The color of the wallet matches my case perfectly and the gold hardware matches the reflective holographic stripes like they were made for each other. And it's very well made, nice quality leather that should last a long time. I love that part of the wallet is fully zipped so whatever you put in it doesn't get lost. I was a little worried about the small magnetic clasp on the phone's front pocket, as magnets can sometimes damage electronic devices. But given the location of the magnets, their strength and skin thickness, and my case, I figured it wouldn't do any harm. And it's not. I started thinking of it as my "Barbie phone" 😂 because I feel like I've dressed up my phone like a doll. But I do not care. Maybe I still have hope of becoming a girl!
