If you're buying this for RGB capabilities, expect this mouse to match any color other than green and still be usable, then you're going to have a bad experience. Colors are DPI dependent. Anything below green is too slow. Purple (the only color above green) is too fast for most applications. The DPI button also doesn't register a button press event (examined with AutoHotkey), so it can't be programmed. Even turning the light off while holding down the DPI button leaves an ugly muted red, so it sort of blends in with your chosen color. Worst of all, the mouse goes through rainbow mode and is a nice blue color. As you move the mouse, it turns sharp red (slowest), blue (slow), green (just useable speed), and purple (too fast to use). So yes. I also tried opening up and modifying this mouse but the case is really cheaply made. It's an $11 mouse if bought separately so I can't expect much from it. If you take a screwdriver and try to gently twist the head to pry open any of the cases or knobs, the plastic will immediately come loose. TLDR: I hope you like the green color when you buy this.
