Review on 🎮 EEEKit PS2 to HDMI Converter Adapter with Audio Output Cable for Sony PlayStation 2 - Enhance HDTV and HDMI Monitor Gaming Experience by Andy Tran

I've occasionally looked at different options for this product on Revain over the last few years but the reviews always seem to be mixed on each item and I ended up giving it a try. . Decided that the negative reviews were due to user error. Received it in the mail yesterday, it was delivered in 2 days through Prime. I have a ps2 slim. Connected via a regular AV cable. I opened the disc tray. Power button pressed. Selected system configuration from the OSD menu. Looked through the menu and moved the component video output option from "rgb" to "y cb/pb cr/pr". However, I haven't hit the X button to select this option yet. I unplugged the video cable from the PS2. I connected the HDMI cable to the TV and the other end to the EEEKit Video AV Adapter for Sony Playstation 2, PS2 to HDMI Converter. I connected the included mini USB cable to the PS2 to HDMI converter and then connected the other end to my cable box where the PS2 is located. I then connected the PS2 to HDMI converter to the PS2. I selected the HDMI option on my TV and then pressed the X button on the PS2 controller. TA Dah. The PS2 to HDMI converter worked perfectly. My PS2 was now showing up on my HDTV. I spent 15 minutes playing Grand Theft Auto 3. The graphics are smoother than with AV cables. Especially the lyrics. This game went well. I then spent 15 minutes playing God of War 2 right from the start. The graphics are much smoother. Then I put in Final Fantasy 9, a PS1 game. The Sony Playstation 1 logo was displayed, after which no other images were displayed. The screen turned blue as if the console was off. I expected that. I'm not tech savvy, not an expert at all on these things. I'm a very casual gamer, I can go months without turning on the console. I am glad that I dared this topic. It looks like it will meet my expectations. I've taken the time to write step-by-step how to set up this element so that other casual gamers who might see this element but are hesitant like me can figure out how it works with their system.
