I was looking for a makeup remover that didn't require much effort to remove my eye makeup. I found this, read all the reviews and while it's cute - let's try it. I'm going to be negative, Nancy, and I'll write the cons first. Because that's how I ride. Cons: It's too oily. It might be a hair's breadth thinner than petroleum jelly, but that's what it feels like on the face. I have oily skin and Freddy Krueger acne during shark week (feel me ladies?). So you can imagine the trepidation I felt putting this on my face. The last thing I need is for my niece to want to play to connect the dots on my face. All this to say that I've used it twice all over my face and haven't broken out. I stopped using it anyway because even with 500 million cotton balls I still had a greasy feeling that I wasn't the biggest fan of. And pimples can appear. Anyone else listening to the Jaws soundtrack. This is real horror. That's it, that's my only scam. And it's personal preference, so take it or leave it. Pros: It does what I wanted, which is to remove eyeliner and waterproof mascara without making me look like a frigging raccoon when I'm done. Before that, I started gently rubbing my eyes with Clinique's watery muck to remove the eyes. All he did was mess up everything and everywhere and turn me into a very shabby burglar. To take it off I had to go to war and lost. Too many times I've lost (tears). Although this material doesn't remove everything in one go, it does so in several very gentle strokes. And the greasy feeling around the eyes isn't too bad, plus I think it's good for sensitive skin. But what the hell do I really know. I'm just glad I found an eye makeup remover that works and works well. My fiancé no longer screams in horror when I'm done. This is victory. So, to sum it up – I still wash my face with a mild facial cleanser for the time being. But this material is my go-to for long-lasting eye makeup. With the size of the tub and how little you need, it will last forever. double win.
