Negative issues: • Thick open case bezels cover too much screen (landscape) or edges (portrait). In landscape mode, status icons such as the time and battery level are hidden. It's also not possible to use the "Recent App" label in the top left. This isn't a problem for portrait mode users, but swiping from the edge of the screen has negative effects. • The home button cutout is poorly placed, too small, and bulges away from the screen. Difficulty implementing Touch ID. • The ambient light sensors that control the screen brightness are covered. You'll need to drill new holes in the case to restore this useful feature.* The auto sleep/wake feature only works about half the time on my iPad with this new case.* The internal memory card slots (which is why I bought this special case) are too small for standard business cards. You need to cut out each card you want to leave here. And the slots are VERY narrow.* No protection for two corners and most of one edge of the tablet. The corners are very vulnerable to bumps and damage.* The body is quite thick and bulky. This may not be a problem for some.* I don't like the foldable design for standing use. Although a similar design is used in many cases, the other design is more convenient (to me). * Speaker grilles are partially closed * Case is clearly not leather; although I wasn't expecting leather for the price. Pros * Price, obviously * My specimen appears to be well constructed. Good stitching, heavy inner structure (maybe too heavy). I particularly like the two-tone design.* It has inside and outside pockets, but with limited usability.* The feel of the plastic surface is unobtrusive. Given the changes needed, I'll probably be returning this case.
