It's hard to get a "seal ". The support is still good.
I bought a few different AirPods accessories. These are normal, they are more comfortable than those that sit with a rubber "finger" in the ear. The problem you might run into is that it's not all very good. The ANC functions may not work and you may have to switch between small and large rubber ear tips for a comfortable fit.
