The Cooper 2 was my first tent purchase, and so far it's a great deal for tenting in fair weather. Suggested for cooler weather, because the tent heats up quickly in warm weather.I pitched it the day it arrived by mail. I found a nice spot along the river, and initially things were going well.well, until the wind started to blow. In Iowa wind can be a problem, but setup time took an additional 40 minutes, because of strong winds.Overall, it's a good 2-season weather tent. A freestanding and pop-up version is desired, as well as steel or aluminum poles, because the fiberglass poles just won't survive a rain/wind or snow storm.
