I replaced the map lights in my 2008 Honda CRV with white LED bulbs (from another source) over a year ago. Since I was happy with them when the overhead auxiliary lights (above the rear seat) and cargo area lights needed new bulbs, I decided to replace them with white LED bulbs as well. I ordered 6-LED bulbs (6-SMD 5730). ) from the seller"Yorkim" 18.07.16. (I believe these types of string lights are available with as little as 4 LEDs and up to 24 LEDs. The more LEDs the brighter the bulbs, but they are also larger/wider and more expensive. I wanted to be sure they would fit width, so I ordered versions with 6 leds.) They were delivered undamaged on 7/22/16 (Revain Prime delivery). They fit into both outlets (ceiling comfort light and cargo light) and slide in easily. Works well so far with no problems. However, it's still too early to talk about reliability/durability. (I don't use my car often, usually no more than once or twice a week, so I expect these bulbs to last much longer than the average driver who uses their car daily.) These bulbs provide a cool, bluish-white Light. rather than a warm yellowish white light. I prefer cooler white; You can not. Brightness is pretty subjective. The 6 LED bulbs are bright enough for my needs. If you need bright "bright sun” lighting, consider using 12 or even 24 LED bulbs. Just make sure your ships can accommodate their increased width.
