Neat gloves. I was a bit surprised at how thin the leather on these gloves is. They don't offer any protection in the event of an accident, but they do the job of reducing steering vibration while driving. Rode them 420 miles on their first ride and they did a great job of dampening vibration. As for the colour. I was expecting them to be almost dark charcoal or faded black in the standard photo, but they're more of a mottled gray. They look distressed, but far from faded black. Keep this in mind if you want to go all black. I kept them. Wanted her more for the function than anything.
